At The Endless Yard, pregnancy and postpartum recovery should not mean losing the chance to race. Every experience is different, and no runner should feel pressured to return before they are ready.
Your options
If you are unable to participate because of pregnancy or postpartum recovery, you may choose one of the following:
A free deferral: We will move your entry to an available equivalent Endless Yard event occurring within at least two years of the original race date, without an additional entry charge or administration fee. If a suitable event is not held during that period, we will offer a full refund instead.
A full refund: If you prefer not to defer, we will refund the full amount you paid for your event entry, including mandatory entry charges, subject only to the treatment of separate optional third-party products clearly disclosed at purchase.
Who this covers
This policy covers runners affected by pregnancy and postpartum recovery, including after pregnancy loss. We will approach requests sensitively and confidentially. Runners affected by adoption or the arrival of a child, and partners with significant caring responsibilities around childbirth, are welcome to contact us about additional fair deferral arrangements.
How to request it
Email hello@theendlessyard.com with your name, selected race date, booking reference and preferred option. You do not need to provide a detailed explanation or medical documentation as a matter of routine. We may discuss a request privately if information is genuinely needed to administer it.
When to contact us
Please tell us before your event where possible. We appreciate that pregnancy-related circumstances can be unexpected; later requests will be considered fairly and sensitively.
Returning to racing
You decide, with relevant healthcare advice where needed, when you are ready to participate. A deferred place will be subject to the usual event rules and safety requirements. Nothing in this policy requires a runner to return within a medically inappropriate timeframe.
Confidentiality
Information about a pregnancy-related request will be shared only with those who reasonably need it to process the request, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
