photography and filming policy

Last updated: 28/10/2026

Photography and video may take place at The Endless Yard events to document the experience, celebrate runners and promote future races.

1. What may be recorded

We may capture images and recordings of runners, crew, spectators, volunteers, basecamp activities and the course. We will use images respectfully and will not intentionally photograph people in private changing, toilet or breastfeeding areas.

2. How images may be used

Images may be shared on our website, social media, event reports and event-related promotional materials, in accordance with the applicable lawful basis in our Privacy Policy. We will not assume that simply buying an entry automatically gives unrestricted consent for every use of a person's image.

3. Privacy requests

If you have a safety, safeguarding or privacy concern, contact hello@theendlessyard.com before the event or speak privately to the race team. We will provide a reasonable process for explaining your preferences to authorised photographers where practical.

If you see an identifiable image of yourself that causes concern, please send the relevant link or description. We will review the request promptly and explain what we can do about material under our control.

4. Children

Extra care will be taken when photographing children. We will confirm an appropriate approach to consent, safeguarding and publication before the event.

5. Participant photography

Everyone taking pictures at the event must respect privacy, requests for space and the Participant Safety and Anti-Harassment Policy. Photography must not obstruct runners or safety teams.
