Breastfeeding, Periods
and Participant Facilities
Practical support throughout the event
We want runners to feel comfortable and respected at The Endless Yard. Our event village and race instructions will take different participant needs into account.
Toilets
We will provide clearly signed toilet facilities at basecamp for the duration of the event, including overnight. Portable toilets will be stationed at the start line along with the toilets provided in the main buildin.
Private changing
A private changing space will be available at basecamp in the main building. Dedicated female changing, toilet and shower facilities will be provided for all runners and crew.
Period products
Free period products and hygienic disposal will be available at basecamp. Runners may also bring preferred products and supplies. The team will ensure supplies are kept stocked throughout the event.
Breastfeeding and expressing
Breastfeeding and expressing athletes are welcome. We can discuss a private area, chair, access to power where available, milk storage options and arrangements for a baby and carer. Please contact us before race day so we can confirm exactly what can be supplied. We cannot guarantee refrigeration, electricity or specialist equipment unless this is specifically confirmed with you. We are here to ensure you have the best experience possible.
Babies and carers
Babies and designated carers may access approved basecamp areas by prior agreement. Children must be supervised at all times and cannot accompany runners around the course. Carers and crew must follow site rules.
Race format
Personal assistance can be received between yards in the permitted basecamp area. The hourly start cannot be paused and no personal aid or non-participant pacing is allowed on the course.
Other access and support needs
If you have an accessibility requirement, a condition that is not visible or another welfare request, please contact us confidentially. We will consider reasonable adjustments consistent with safety and the race rules.
